The Generous Donor

The opportunity to purchase a knackered V12 Sovereign Jaguar inspired the purchase of a Dax Tojeiro kit.

Engine

The previous owner of engine and gearbox actually fired it up as you see it here - lashed to a pallet. Scary. It's a small-block 350 Chevy engine with TH350 automatic gearbox

Chassis

Eventually Dax supplied the chassis and work could commence...

Body

The body arrived and a whole new set of headaches appeared. As no decision had been made on final colour at this point, the body was ordered in black, deemed to be a neutral base colour.

Now for some leather...

With the mechanicals of the car complete it was time for Ian the upholsterer to make and fit the bespoke leather interior.

And now for some viper stripes...

Once trimmed the car could be presented for SVA testing. Having passed (first time!) the car was stripped, painted and reassembled. It's pearlescent grey with very dark green viper stripes.

Dashboard

The dashboard was removed and given to Ty Lawer at Pageant Paintwork who produced a bespoke piece of artwork thereupon.
