Front Suspension

With some temporary cross-members installed between the chassis rails, the front suspension from the XJS donor car to the '32 Ford is mated with the chassis.

Looks like a car...

With the addition of the fibreglass body and XJS wheels, it begins to look like a real car.

Shiny new wheels

After a lot of contemplation, and consulting available wheel/tyre size combinations, the final rims & rubber are purchased.

Rear chassis tubular sections

Here you can see the tubular cross members and chassis reinforcement between the original chassis rails as chassis construction proper gets under way.

Front chassis tubular sections

Here you can see the tubular cross members and chassis reinforcement at the front of the original chassis rails, including the engine mounts and removable cross-member beneath the gearbox.
